It’s that time of year again

I should have posted this yesterday, but I was too busy banging wood and seeing the deck boards get laid (at least something is getting laid around here!).

So at 02:00 on October 27, 2002, we officially switched back to Eastern Standard Time from Eastern Daylight Time. Here is a list of all the clocks I’ve had to change:

  • Wrist watch (digital)
  • bedside alarm clock CD/radio (digital)
  • kitchen wall clock (analog)
  • clock on stove (digital)
  • display phone in hall (digital)
  • television (digital)
  • video cassette recorder (digital)
  • stereo for timer function (digital)
  • living room light timer (analogish)
  • computer #1 (digital – Windows 95 needs acknowledgement)
  • computer #2 (digital – Windows XP changes automatically)
  • digital camera (digital)
  • office wall clock (analog)
  • upstairs room light timer (analogish)
  • car radio (digital)
  • work computer #1 (digital – Windows 95 needs acknowledgement)
  • work computer #2 (digital – Windows NT changes automatically)
  • work computer #3 (digital – Windows 2000 changes automatically)
  • work computer #4 (digital – Windows 2000 changes automatically)

As the old saying goes: A man with one clock always knows what time it is; a man with two clocks is never sure. Based on that, I have absolutely no idea what time it is right now!
