I should have posted this yesterday, but I was too busy banging wood and seeing the deck boards get laid (at least something is getting laid around here!).
So at 02:00 on October 27, 2002, we officially switched back to Eastern Standard Time from Eastern Daylight Time. Here is a list of all the clocks I’ve had to change:
- Wrist watch (digital)
- bedside alarm clock CD/radio (digital)
- kitchen wall clock (analog)
- clock on stove (digital)
- display phone in hall (digital)
- television (digital)
- video cassette recorder (digital)
- stereo for timer function (digital)
- living room light timer (analogish)
- computer #1 (digital – Windows 95 needs acknowledgement)
- computer #2 (digital – Windows XP changes automatically)
- digital camera (digital)
- office wall clock (analog)
- upstairs room light timer (analogish)
- car radio (digital)
- work computer #1 (digital – Windows 95 needs acknowledgement)
- work computer #2 (digital – Windows NT changes automatically)
- work computer #3 (digital – Windows 2000 changes automatically)
- work computer #4 (digital – Windows 2000 changes automatically)
As the old saying goes: A man with one clock always knows what time it is; a man with two clocks is never sure. Based on that, I have absolutely no idea what time it is right now!
