The Next Trend: Customized PDAs

There was an article in the paper today about RIM (makers of the BlackBerry devices) won the patent case in the UK.

I came up some ideas** for what the Next Trend is going to be: Customized PDAs!

  1. For old people, a PDA with a larger screen and larger buttons. It will be called the ElderBerry.
  2. For poultry farmers, a PDA that comes with specialized software to calculate incubation times, production yields, and connections for temperature monitoring peripherals: The CackleBerry.
  3. For movie and theatre critics, a PDA with a special keyboard designed to be used with either two thumbs up, or two thumbs down: The RaspBerry.
  4. For musicians, this PDA is capable of recording sound bytes, and has connections for several MIDI devices: The ChuckBerry.
  5. And here’s some more that are still in development:

  6. The HalleBerry.
  7. The StrawBerry.
  8. The BlueBerry.
  9. The YogiBerry.

** Let it be know heretofore that should anyone steal my ideas and actually produce any of the above devices, My Lawyers and I will be coming after you for a hefty settlement of royalty payments and infringement of intellectual property law suits!
