I spent a wonderfully exhausting weekend hauling concrete block and wheelbarrows full of dirt to build the front garden. The hardest part– laying down the first level– is virtually complete and it’s going to be great when it is done, if I do say so myself.
Unfortunately, it completely wiped me out, so now I’m backlogged on the other things I was supposed to do, and I even had to cancel a date I had with Annie!
I’ve also postponed my Annual Xoozland Garden Party. It was originally scheduled for my Birthday on July 14th, but there’s no way in Heck the new deck will be ready in time. So instead, I might do something private with my family for my Birthday, and will reschedule the Garden Party for later in the season when the deck is complete.
