At least I can start calling it a DECK, since I finally have actual decking boards on the upper deck actually fastened into their actual final location!

Yesterday it was such a great day weather-wise (except for the rain in the middle of the afternoon) that I got out the light kit and continued to work into the darkness (earlier now thanks to the switch back to Standard Time!) until the battery on my drill ran out and I had to go to the book launch! I have half of the deck boards in place, as well as half of the stairs and the top posts for the railing!!!
I’ve also come to realize that because of the way I’m building it, this deck may be around for a lot longer than I will be!
