I’m having trouble getting started this morning, a combination of being wiped out from yesterday’s deck building— too much sun, too much inhalation of bad things (sawdust, arsenic, paint fumes)— and lack of caffeine. My doctor says that when I get these headaches on the weekend, it’s because my caffeine intake is a lot less than during the week and I’m suffering from withdrawal symptoms. Fun? Wow!
Speaking of fun, Chocoholic is coming over this afternoon. She’s teaching Sunday School right now, and is going to call me when she’s done so that I can hop on my bike and ride out to meet her. She’s riding her bike (she has no car), so this way we both get some exercise today.
When we get back to Xoozland, I’m going to continue working on the deck, and she will either help out or work in the garden. Later we’ll probably go meet my brother and his family for dinner. My niece has to go in for some corrective optical surgery next Friday, and I want to see her before she does.
