Just a little while to go before I can get out of here for the weekend, and in between fits of disgustitude (I’ve spent the last three or four weeks spinning my wheels instead of being productive because the third-party system I support is a piece of crap!) and fits of abject boredom, I mused over the following New Products (sorry no package pictures to share this time):
- Sprite Ice. Lemon-lime MINT-flavoured soda. The ONLY place I can think this might be palatable is in a Mint Julep, and probably one laced with lots of gin. Gin IS what goes into a Mint Julep, isn’t it?
- Sundae Smarties. “Eight Ice Cream flavours… in-FUN-ite Combinations!” Flavours are: caramel; chocolate; vanilla; wildberry; orange; strawberry; banana; raspberry sorbet. I can’t imagine what these might be good for. If I want ice cream flavours, I’ll eat ice cream. Smarties should taste like the yummy little chocolate morsels they are.
- Cherry-Flavour Dentine Ice. This is probably the worst thing I’ve tasted in many years, and I’ve tasted a lot of nasty things in my lifetime! It tastes like cough syrup! SUPER YUCK!
WHAT were these people thinking when they came up with these things?????
