As I told my boss, dealing with some problems over the last two weeks has really drained me, so I’m in need of some serious Mental Health time. I’m going to propose the following schedule to the client:
- Monday, May 12th: Combination Mental Health Day and working from home. I want to work on some Design Documents and mock up the screen snapshots. I don’t have the advanced graphics editing software at the office.
- Tuesday, May 13th: Late Shift at my regular office, 3pm to 11 pm.
- Wednesday, May 14th: Normal day at my alternate office. (Is it my turn to take the pager?)
- Thursday, May 15th: Late Shift at my regular office, 3pm to 11 pm.
I will be available to the client on Monday to Thursday should any emergencies arise. - Friday, May 16th: Off for Mental Health/Vacation Day.
- Monday, May 19th: Off for Victoria Day.
- Tuesday, May 20th: Normal day at my regular office.
I feel this schedule will allow me to concentrate on the problems without distraction, work on the Design Documents, and figure out what the next step is to a final resolution.
