Xooz = Zoos!
Just in case you didn’t know the history/legend of how I came up with my name… I was chatting on IRC one day, and we were talking about zoos. I made a typo, and instead of typing “Zoos”, I accidentally typed “Xooz”. I looked at it for a bit, and then thought “Hey! That would make a great nick!” And so it did! (It was certainly better than the nick I had been using.)
Weekly Wrap-Up #47 — Going to the Zoo!
1. Do you like going to the zoo? Why or why not? Yes, because I love animals. Mind you, I think the humans should be in cages and the other animals should be able to go free. But an animal in captivity is better than an extinct animal.
2. How many zoos have you visited? Where? 8: Metro Toronto Zoo, Bunya Park (Australia… I fed a kanga with a joey, and I got to hold a real, live koala bear!), Marineland Niagara, Bowmanville Zoo, the “Zoo” in High Park, the “Zoo” in Kitchener-Waterloo, Harry J. Clarke Public School Mini Zoo (it had mice and rabbits and rats and other small animals!), and I ALMOST made it to the Indianapolis Zoo (but I ended up picking up a strange woman in a bar and spent the weekend with her instead!).
3. What’s your favorite animal to see at the zoo? Why? The big cats. We stare at each other. It’s also fun to watch the masturbating monkeys!
