Why should I go?

People in the LJ community had a chance to answer this, so now it’s your turn!

Serious question…

I’ve been to a few Convergences (IV in Toronto, V in New Orleans, and VIII in Montréal) so I know what Convergence is all about. I had a blast at all of them.

I would like to go to C9, and I’m trying to get a friend to go with me. My friend is definitely goth (probably more goth than me!) but doesn’t read a.g, doesn’t subscribe to any goth mailing list, and doesn’t spend much time in any of the local goth scenes. (She doesn’t even have a livejournal, even though I offered her one of denovan‘s sekrit kodes!)

While she didn’t say “no”, she did have what seems to be a very good question: Why she should go to Las Vegas?

So please help me: What can I tell her to encourage her to go with me to Convergence in Las Vegas?
