No, I’m not bored, I am extremely tired. At this point, I’m coming to the END of my day at a time when I would just be coming up to speed on a normal day. I was at the office until 9:30 pm last night to do an implementation. Then I had to get up at an ungodly 5:00 a.m. in order to get ready and be awake enough to get into the office for 7:00 am to provide any support that might be necessary. I surprised myself by making it by 6:45 am.
There were NO PROBLEMS, no problems whatsoever. Am I good, or what? (That’s a rhetorical question, and all you are supposed to do is nod your head and say “yes”.) The implementation went as smooth as a silk diaper on a baby’s bottom!
I was thinking of going to the gym on my way home this afternoon, but after talking with tammy2tall earlier, we concluded that it might be dangerous to try to exercise in my current state of exhaustion. The plan now is to go home, have a nap, and see what’s what later. If the weather co-operates (it’s lightly snowing at the moment but could become worse), I’ll venture out. Beyond that, I’ll have to get my exercise “jumping to conclusions and running off at the mouth.”
As for my diet, I am extremely proud of how little I’ve had to eat today. And yesterday, too. Actually, last night’s dinner was a bit less than I should have had nothing more than some Japanese Cabbage Salad because I was so busy working on the implementation. I intended to get something more substantial when I was done, but by then it was well after 8 o’clock, and I was no longer all that hungry. My pride comes from how I have virtually avoided the Snack Monster that has been bothering me since January 13th. I think I’ve snacked so little that I’ve actually earned any treat I may decide to have later.
