I’m not expecting to get a lot of work done here today, for one or more of the following reasons.
— The Weather: While it is currently bitchingly cold out, the temperature is supposed to rise tonight (it’s the first time I’ve seen a weather forecast where the nighttime LOW is HIGHER than the daytime HIGH!) and tomorrow is supposed to be a great deck building day. I’ll be taking the day off!
— Bank Holiday: Monday is Remembrance Day. Since my client is a Bank, I get the day off!
— Alternate Office Location: On Tuesdays, I go to the other office location.
— Office Renovations: Over the weekend, the renovations being done at this office will begin, so to make sure nothing goes amiss during my absence I need to pack up my desktop before I go at the end of today.
— Fitness Evaluation: I’ve just joined a new fitness facility, so I’m going for an evaluation. That’s happening at 5:00 pm, so I actually need to leave the office a little earlier than normal today in order to get there on time!
But mostly because I really don’t feel much like working today! So there.
