At least not for a while, and at least not until I&#8217;ve got a functioning hot tub to climb into afterwards to help speed the detoxification process! And next time, there will be more eye-candy, more wings, fewer nachos, fewer beer, and NO tequila.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m really glad I didn&#8217;t drive last night. I could barely stagger home on foot, never mind the thought of getting &#8220;behind the wheel of a large automobile&#8221; (to quote David Byrne)! I even stopped in to Second Cup and got a Chai Latte to take home to B-R-C.<\/p>\n<p>But the conversation was stimulating, so it made it all worth while. Except for the part about spewing my guts at 1:15 a.m. My throat is still raunched out from that. And DIET ginger ale just doesn&#8217;t seem to have the same medicinal qualities as regular ginger ale.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, as enjoyable as the evening was, I&#8217;m NOT doing that again.
