What a week it has been! Between work, and having people come in to give us estimates for built-in storage, and getting ready for my trip to Atlanta, and being dragged to yet another series of furniture stores, and everything else going on, I’ve barely had any time to myself. I’m glad it’s over.<\/p>\n
Or mostly over. Saturday will be another day of running around: we’re going to the Home Show and then out for dinner with friends. Beryl’s planning to go to Tai Chi in the morning, but since I don’t know the full routine yet, I’ll most likely stay home and do stuff around there.<\/p>\n
I’ve declared Sunday to be my Day of Rest!! I need to have a down day before I travel. The only thing I’m planning to do is to organize and pack my suitcase, then take it to the office where it can sit overnight until I take it with me to the airport on Monday afternoon. Doing that means I won’t have to carry it on the bus to work on Monday morning. It also forces me to get it done so I won’t be scrambling to pack at the last minute. I’ll take anything else I need can go in my carry-on bag.<\/p>\n
Which reminds me of a joke: Why was the vulture with three dead rabbits in its mouth prevented from boarding the airplane? Because there was a limit of two carrion<\/font> per passenger!<\/b> HA HA HA<\/p>\n I really like the outfit yesterday’s SunShine Girl<\/a> is wearing. Do you have any idea where I can find something like that? I wonder if there’s a Victoria’s Sekrit store near where I’m staying in Atlanta? They might carry this sort of thing. Or is it TOO SEXY for them?<\/p>\n I’m going to see if A Certain Someone<\/i> is interested in going to the doggy park on Sunday. It would be good to get out and let Karma run around with other dogs for a while!<\/p>\n Oh, and B-R-C just called me to announce that she thinks she’s got “Pink Eye”!! No I have to trundle over to the walk-in clinic and get checked out. That’s the last thing I need right now, just before I’m supposed to fly out of town.
