Three of them are bigger ticket items, the others are nearly trinket-like. I won’t tell you what they are, just in case B-R-C figures out how to get to my journal!”

Well now that Hanukkah is here, I can spill the beans. (It is Day 6, and I’ll update this and redate it later…)

What I got her:

Day 1 (Dec. 15th): A “Noah’s Ark” Menorah. She collects “Noah’s Ark” related things, and she collects menorahs, so this was the perfect gift for her. I had to give it to her on the first night so we could use it during the holidays!

Day 2 (Dec. 16th): A Second Cup Cafe Card, preloaded with some money so she’ll always be able to get her Chai Lattes.

Day 3 (Dec. 17th): A glass “Artist’s Palette” serving plate, with five coloured glass dishes. It’s the perfect thing for the artist who likes to entertain guests.

Day 4 (Dec. 18th): A “Chocolate” Calendar and a deck of heart-shaped playing cards.

Day 5 (Dec. 19th): A “Nightmare Before Christmas” Wooden Desk Organizer. The third big gift was a complete surprise since I bought it the day after she admired it just before her birthday in November. She absolutely loves Skeleton Jack!

Day 6 (Dec. 20th): A bottle of mixed nuts in maple syrup. I hope she’ll share it with me so I can put it on my ice cream!

Day 7 (Dec. 21st):

Day 8 (Dec. 22nd):

What she got me:

Day 1 (Dec. 15th): A basket containing a “Tazo” teapot and collection of teas. And “from Karma,” a magnet for the fridge: one end says “Dog’s Hungry” and the other says “Dog’s Fed.” That way we’ll be able to know (theoretically) when it’s dinner time for doggie.

Day 2 (Dec. 16th): A copy of “Marley & Me: Life And Love With The World’s Worst Dog” by John Grogan. My Mom was talking about this book when we visited them two weeks ago. On Friday night, she gave us a copy! B-R-C already had it for my present…

Day 3 (Dec. 17th): A “Moo Mixer,” a cup with a cow motif and a built-in mixing device.

Day 4 (Dec. 18th): A “Teapot” Night Light. We’ve been admiring these for a couple of years.

Day 5 (Dec. 19th): A “Mad Hatter” Note Book.

Day 6 (Dec. 20th): A kit of Burt’s Bees stuff for travel or camping. And “from Karma,” a bird-call device, “so we can go bird chasing together.”

Day 7 (Dec. 21st):

Day 8 (Dec. 22nd):

As I said before, “So far, I have six of B-R-C’s Hanukkah presents.
