I was doing a little clean up in the office and found one of my old journal notebooks. The following is an excerpt from one of them, which I had titled “Studio 7B -or- Xooz’s Brain Takes a Dump”:<\/p>\n
I’m disappointed. tammy2tall<\/a> did not like the photos that we did on Sunday, not a one. She didn’t even take any copies. I suppose I got a little over-enthusiastic when I saw them, and maybe they looked better to me in the darkroom. When I finished printing them, I phoned tammy2tall<\/a> and told her how wonderful I thought they were. So when I showed them to her, and she didn’t like them, I was disappointed. Mind you, when I showed the photos of Louise to Louise, she didn’t like them either. Maybe I should make a rule not to take pictures of any women over the age of 25!<\/p>\n Last night, after I finished in the lab, I dropped my advertisement submission at the Eye weekly offices. Unless there is a message for me at home, the ad has been accepted.<\/p>\n I’ve been showing the photos of tammy2tall<\/a> to other people to see if they like them. One person liked the two headshots I liked (#23, & end) but didn’t like the others.<\/p>\n tammy2tall<\/a> has a date tonight. She’s going to the movies with RichieRich, a guy she met at the Devil’s Martini a couple of weeks ago. It’s actually their fourth or fifth date. I’m still not sure how the thing is going– is it a romance, or is it becoming more of a friendship like she is with me or John, her ex-roommate. I may know more on Saturday. She’s invited me to a party at some travel type’s place. I think I’ll be surprized if RichieRich is NOT there, too…<\/p>\n This party should be interesting. Marsha will be there, too. She’s the girl I supposedly groped on New Year’s Eve. StableBoy, who works with tammy2tall<\/a>, has been spending time with her– not dating, since he has a “girlfriend” in Texas– all these people NOT dating! What is this world coming to??– but he’s not supposed to let her know I’m going to be there. tammy2tall<\/a> and I want to see her reaction when she sees me again!<\/p>\n Well, the consensus is in, and tammy2tall<\/a>‘s opinion is countered. Unless they were trying not to hurt my feelings, everybody liked the pictures, Frame #23 in particular. That makes me feel better about them. I’m still disappointed that tammy2tall<\/a> doesn’t like them. But there isn’t a lot I can realy do about that, I suppose. I’ve phoned her and left her two messages with regards to the informal survey I’ve taken. The second message emphasized Carol’s opinion that she (Carol) thought the photos were wonderful, and that she (tammy2tall<\/a>) looks very sophisticated. Carol wondered if tammy2tall<\/a> actually did modelling!<\/p>\n Now I have to arrange a shoot with Jamie. I showed her the pictures of tammy2tall<\/a> this morning. She didn’t really comment, but she wasn’t feeling well this morning, either. I should call her and see how she’s feeling now.
