I have a new hobby: stealing people’s livejournal interest lists. I think it came about because as I was poking my nose in other people’s livejournal user info, I noticed a few of them have very long lists of interests<\/b>, and I don’t have that many. At least I don’t have that many listed, so I guess I was looking to see what sort of things other people were putting there.<\/p>\n\n\n

Interests<\/a>:<\/b><\/font><\/td>\n23:<\/b> alex mcleod<\/a>, amy wynn pastor<\/a>, bicycling<\/a>, biking<\/a>, canoeing<\/a>, cheddar<\/a>, computers<\/a>, deck building<\/a>, gardening<\/a>, genevive gorder<\/a>, gothic fashion<\/a>, gothic music<\/a>, home renovations<\/a>, http:\/\/www.swarf.org.uk, humour (couldn’t you tell?), movies<\/a>, mp3s<\/a>, oral sex<\/a>, pvc<\/a>, swarf<\/a>, trading spaces<\/a>, women<\/a>, women on bikes<\/a><\/font><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n

So to meet my criteria, a person must have a minimum of 80 items<\/b> in their interest list. Then I steal it.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, my goal is to take the collected lists, load them into a database, and extract the top 100 different interests. Then I’ll post it in my journal for all to see. And I might even add a few of them to my own list of interests!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
