{"id":179,"date":"2002-10-21T09:24:00","date_gmt":"2002-10-21T09:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/badinage.com\/journal\/?p=179"},"modified":"2002-10-21T09:24:00","modified_gmt":"2002-10-21T09:24:00","slug":"mind-control","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/badinage.com\/journal\/2002-10\/179-mind-control","title":{"rendered":"Mind Control?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An item from today&#8217;s <i>News Rag Daily<\/i>:<\/p>\n<p><font COLOR=\"#000088\"><b>Spielberg files restraining order<\/b><br \/>\nIN COURT: Steven Spielberg has filed a restraining order against a woman who allegedly stalked the director and claimed he implanted a mind-control device in her brain, according to <a HREF=\"http:\/\/www.people.com\/\">People Magazine Online<\/a>.<br \/>\n&nbsp; &nbsp;An L.A. judge granted Spielberg&#8217;s request against Diana Louisa Napolis, 47, who Spielberg believes suffers from a delusional disorder and poses &#8220;a serious risk of violent confrontation&#8221; with the filmmaker. In February, Spielberg was granted a restraining order against a Canadian man who apparently sneaked into Universal Studios in hopes of getting noticed by the director.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><b>Well, duh!<\/b><br \/>\nHey, Stupid! If Spielberg had <b>actually<\/b> implanted a <i>mind-control device<\/i> in your brain, do you think he would need to get a restraining order against you? He&#8217;d just control your brain so you wouldn&#8217;t stalk him!
