{"id":167,"date":"2002-10-16T10:39:00","date_gmt":"2002-10-16T10:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/badinage.com\/journal\/?p=167"},"modified":"2002-10-16T10:39:00","modified_gmt":"2002-10-16T10:39:00","slug":"stupid-people-arrrrgggh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/badinage.com\/journal\/2002-10\/167-stupid-people-arrrrgggh","title":{"rendered":"Stupid People: ARRRRGGGH!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more How difficult is it to take a tea order??--> <b>How difficult is it to take a tea order??<\/b> And a tea order which RARELY changes&#151; it&#8217;s almost always <i>&#8220;Jumbo English Breakfast Tea&#8221;<\/i> in the forenoon, and usually <i>&#8220;Jumbo Earl Grey Tea&#8221;<\/i> in the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s one woman at the Second Cup where I get my daily doses of tea when I at work who just drives me up the wall. <b>Dumb as a sack of hammers?<\/b> No matter what I do, she always seems to get my order wrong in one way or another. Usually it&#8217;s an argument over how much I have to pay&#151; $1.10 no matter what size, but only $1.00 if I bring back my cup. If I hand my cup to you, why are you charging me full price, and THEN arguing with me about it??<\/p>\n<p>This morning shouldn&#8217;t have been a problem. My first cup of the day, so I don&#8217;t have a cup with me. BUT I have a free one on my &#8220;buy 6 get one free&#8221; card&#8230; She gives me my tea, I hand her my card.
