This was the name of a demon in ancient Assyrian myths. In Jewish and Islamic tradition she was Adam&#8217;s first wife, sent out of Eden and replaced by Eve because she would not submit to him. In <a HREF=\"http:\/\/www.factmonster.com\/ce6\/society\/A0829773.html\">Jewish folklore, <b>Lilith<\/b><\/a> was a vampire-like child-killer and the symbol of sensual lust. Sarah McLachlan conceived and launched the much-heralded <a HREF=\"http:\/\/www.lilithfair.com\/\">Lilith Fair<\/a> tour, a multi-artist bill showcasing the talents of women musical performers from around the world.<\/p>\n<p><font SIZE=+2 COLOR=\"#0066FF\"><b> LUTHER :<\/b><\/font><br \/>\n<i>Pronounced:<\/i> LU-thur<br \/>\n<i>Origin(s):<\/i> German, Teutonic<br \/>\n<i>Meaning:<\/i> &#8220;Renowned warrior&#8221; or &#8220;people army&#8221; from Germanic <i>liut<\/i> &#8220;people&#8221; and <i>heri<\/i> &#8220;army&#8221;.
