The Great and Powerful Wizard of Xooz

The ongoing saga of what B-R-C packs for me to take to work for lunch…

Today’s Episode – Thursday, October 1, 2009.
(And I thought APRIL First was All Fool’s Day!)

IN my “lunch bag”:
• one container of black grapes (or large Kalimata olives, I really can’t tell), leftover from yesterday;
• one container of frozen leftover-something-or-other. It looks like it might be noodles and chicken and a roll;
• the remains of one container of Artichoke & Asiago Dip, with the lid not on firmly;
• half a bottle of Diet Pepsi, leftover from last night’s dinner-on-the-go for school;
• small container of Apple Blackberry yoghurt;
• one large rubber band;
• the dog’s grooming comb;
• the remains of the open bag of taco chips, thoughtfully put into another plastic bag, so they spilled into it instead;
• the remains of the baggie of veggies, leftover from yesterday;
• one Granny Smith apple, leftover from yesterday.

AND in the bag (left in the car) that my “lunch bag” was in:

• one LARGE jar of turmeric, at least 500g worth!
• one large bottle of some spice or another (I didn’t take a close look at the label)

So you may wonder what prompted this bizzarity? She found the empty beer bottle that I stashed in her purse! But it was the empty beer bottle that SHE left on the table next to the computer in MY office where she shouldn’t have been drinking it in the first place.

Maybe with the turmeric she was trying to CURRY FAVOUR with me?
