You will never guess what I just encountered in the front garden here at Cedar Grove!

AN OPPOSSUM!!!

It was grey, about the size of a big raccoon or watermelon, had a pointy snoot, and a long, thin tail! When it came out of the garden in front of the porch, we stopped in our tracks and stared at each other for a minute, until Karma started to come back from the side of the house. At that point, I didn’t want her to start chasing it, so I started to move, and then it turned and went back the other way through the garden again!!

I’m guessing that perhaps it has been that and not raccoons that has had Karma so interested in the area under and around the deck out back!

This is just a quick update to say that the dangerous thing about having the WordPressApp on my whyPhone is that I can write in my journal while I (as I am at this very moment) sit on the toilet. Just think: I can add to my BLOG while I drop a LOG!!!

This is a blog post made from my mobile phone. Well, it’s really MORE than a phone, so much so that I can’t really call it a cell phone: it’s a MINI-TAB computer with built-in telecommunications capability.

I mean REALLY! Do you think I could have done THIS from a mere telephone?!

A Time For Change

I’ve finally found a WordPress theme that I like and that comes close to the notepad style I had in the old livejournal days. Here it is: LeatherNote, “a sleek leather notepad design” by Webmechs. I am going to continue to tweak it, add widgets, play with the design, and all that stuff. But it looks like I’ve got my active blog/online journal back again!
