How Green is YOUR Valley?
This was presented to me as Corporate Rah-Rah, but since I am already a couple of thousand Green Acts ahead just from my personal habits and life philosophy, I thought I would share it with you.
It reminds me of the party we once hosted at Cedar Grove. People were coming up to me in the kitchen after eating, wondering where “The Garbage” was. I told them: “We don’t DO Garbage in this house!” Food scraps and paper napkins were put into the Green Bin. Plastic plates, cups, and cutlery were either washed for reuse or put into the Blue Bin. There really wasn’t anything else to deal with. Unfortunately, I don’t think many of the Garbage Seekers understood what was going on!

How secure are you?
Here is my Important Tip of the Day:
“Your online accounts, computer files, and personal information are more secure when you use strong passwords to help protect them.”
You can use the Microsoft Password Checker to test the strength of your passwords.
There is absolutely no connection to you personally (except your IP address, which the internet already has access to because you are using a browser!). All it does it tell you whether the string of characters you type would make a strong password or not.
The page also gives some advice on what makes a strong password, and a link to a tips page on how to come up with a strong password.

I don’t like Mondays!!
Today isn’t going so well. I blame the weather and the time zone change!
B-R-C was driving this morning, and we happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, resulting in being Third Party to a Collision… again!!! Well, there goes Trinity’s resale value!! Fortunately there was minimal (visible) damage, and we weren’t hurt. But it did take an hour out of our day, and now I have the aggrevation of having to deal with the stupid insurance company and the body shop and so on…
The week can only get better, right?!
I’m SO EXCITED!!
I just found out that CONVERGENCE 15 will be held in LONG BEACH, Califorication, and will take place July 17-20, 2009!
