Last night after work, I went to have my cut and dyed. I went for the purple again, only making a bit darker than it was at C8– “almost eggplant but not as dark” is about as close to describing the colour to my Hair Cutting Professional. I didn’t bleach it first to make it uniform; I just wanted to colour the grey. Instead of being salt-and-pepper (which has got a lot more salt in it these days!), I’m going to be salt-and-purple… well actually purple-and-pepper.

I don’t know if you really can tell the colour very well from the picture…
And if you are wondering, the colour product used was: Fudge “Purple Haze” (Co-incidentally the same name as the Manic Panic that I used for C8!) I even got to take the leftovers with me (I paid for it, after all!), so I can touch it up on my own or take it with me next time I get my hair cut.
I haven’t decided quite what to do about the beard yet, but it’s probably going to be coming off soon…
