Need advice on smudging, please.

It’s been six weeks since that horrible violation took place. I’ve dealt with the initial shock, pain, and grief over what happened. We’ve dealt with the hassle of insurance (though we still have to complete the stupid claims forms and wait for the result).

Now I’m ready to get on with my life. The first thing I want to do, before I replace the busted hardware, is to smudge the shed to exorcise the Evil Spirits in there, brought to it by persons unknown. I need to cleanse the shed and all of our possessions we have stored there.

I found one fairly detailed article on The Art of Smudging, which I will probably use as my guide.

Do you have any experience with smudging? Do you have any advice to offer me?

There are definitely Evil Spirits in or around the shed. I can sense them, and I haven’t really been able to go into the shed since the incident! Hallowe’en, or the day before since I’ll probably do it tomorrow, seems to be an appropriate time to cast out Evil Spirits.
