Basically an experiment in Artificial Intelligence (aka teaching a computer to “think”), it might be a good teaching tool for Natural Intelligence.
Here is a sample from a session I did. The object I had in mind was “bicycle”. The computer asked me the questions, and I gave the responses.
| 1. It is classified as Mineral. 2. Is it involved in movies? Sometimes. 3. Can you buy it at a store? Yes. 4. Would you use it daily? Depends. 5. Is it colourless? No. 6. Is it multicoloured? Probably. 7. Can you use it at school? Yes. 8. Does it display information? No. 9. Can you play with it? Yes. 10. Is it human powered? Yes. 11. Does it come in a box? Sometimes. 12. Can it fit in an envelope? No. 13. Is it small? Rarely. 14. Is it used in a sport? Yes. 15. Is it usually colourful? Sometimes. 16. Does it move? Yes. 17. Can you sit on it? Yes. 18. Can it be played? Rarely. 19. I guess that it is a mountain bike? Close. 20. I am guessing that it is a bike? Yes. |
(The web stie session actually shows the questions in reverse order with most recent question first, but I reversed the order for demonstration purposes.)
