I recently bought the CD with the soundtrack from The Wizard of Oz. I grew up listening to that album (now an extremely worn-out vinyl disk!) and even used an excerpt from it as the opening fanfare to my movies in my early days as a filmmaker.
After dinner with a friend, I decided to add that fanfare to my Video Catalog page on my web site. Then I discovered that while the fanfare plays once in Netscape like it should, if you use Microsoft Internet Exploder, the fanfare keeps going and going and going and going… It was so annoying!
I write and test my pages with Netscape. It is (or at least was) a far superior browser. I think I’m going to have to increase my testing to include the other browser. Anyway, I’ve now fixed the code, and will let you know when I’ve put it up on the web. I may even regenerate from the database so my most recent acquistions will be included.
In other news, my Official Weight at my dietician’s on Wednesday was 205 lbs. That represents a loss of about 13 pounds in eight weeks, INCLUDING the Vancouver vacation AND Passover! Can you imagine what it might have been without those?
