When setting up the tables for tomorrow night, we discovered that the bridge table which was going together with the patio table was about 1″ shorter. First thought was to get a table pad to put on top of the table to equalize the heights… Now add the problem of $$$ or weight and time to find one!
Then, in a flash of “don’t raise the bridge, lower the water!” inspiration, I came up with the PERFECT SOLUTION: put something UNDER the bridge table to make it higher!

Underneath the duct tape is a wooden block with a 1″ diameter hole drilled about 1/4″. That makes the proper height adjustment and keeps the leg from slipping out of place. The blocks are then duct taped to the legs to keep them on place and to protect the floor.
Pure GENIUS if I do say so myself!!
