07-11-23: On the move again

In just one week, less actually because I don’t know exactly what time the Official Closing will take place but I expect it will be mid-afternoon, I will no longer have anything to do with the property formerly known as Xoozland.
In the morning, I have to do some organization of the shed here at the new house, to get it ready for the stuff we’ll be moving from the old house. I have a pick-up truck rental reserved for noon, and I have my parents coming in to town to help, if only to provide emotional and moral support. My older brother is coming by after he finishes work mid-afternoon, and a couple of other friends will stop by to help.
I think we’ll have two or three loads to make. There’s a bunch of stuff outside and in the shed that needs to be moved. That stuff, for the most part, will stay outside and in the shed. The new shed, unfortunately, is smaller, and less envirnmentally secure, than the old shed, so it will be a bit of a challenge.
Other that the outside stuff, there’s still a bit of stuff in the basement that somehow needs to go into the already crowded furnace room here. Some of the stuff will have to find new homes because it isn’t reeally compatible with the furnace. I mean do YOU think I should be storing the Varsol and turpentine there?
B-R-C is probably going to freak out over it all, and it may seem a bit daunting at first but I’m sure it will all work out in the end when the dust has settled and I’ve had a chance to reorganize everything.
