07-11-20: The final stretch

I’m sitting here at the old house with panty-dog, waiting for B-R-C to return from her meeting. There are a mere 10 days until the sale of Xoozland is finalized and the new owner takes possession. Most of the house is empty, but there are a few things still to be taken care of.
Everything is gone from upstairs except for the bedframe, the mattress, some bedding, an old vcr (anybody want it?), and couple of seagrass baskets.
The dining room and living room have become staging areas or stuuf from other places, but most of their own stuff has been moved already.
Work on the basement is coming along. The problem I face for that stuff is having a place to put it in the new house!
I’m working the Late Shift tomorrow (or at least tomorrow as I write this) so I can do some work organizing the new house.
I have a sofabed to give away. It’s in good condition, but needs a good cleaning because a certain active puppy didn’t always wait to get her paws wiped off. It’s FREE to any friend who wants it. Heck, I’d even give it to someone who once was but is no longer my friend; if she wants it she just only has to arrange to come and get it!
There’s a few other things to give away, too. Does anybody want: a 24-pin wide-carriage dot-matrix printer? an Astral Refridgerette? a four-drawer dresser?
