Okay, so I’ve had the weekend to stew about the house deal, and subsequently GET OVER IT.
That puts me into a sort of Limbo State: The BIG PROJECT that we had been spending so much time on is over with. At least for the most part, since there is still some to-ing and fro-ing to be done, and a bunch of crap that needs to be relocated, but that can be done a bit at a time, a little bit here and a little bit there, over the next five weeks or so.
I still haven’t been able to get the office at the new house set up. Before I had a chance to get started, a friend offered us $5,000 worth of custom-built bookcases she was removing from her condo before she put it on the market. So I’m still waiting to take delivery of those… maybe this week/weekend?
ONCE all of that settles down, and I can start to get on with my Life, here are a few things I will want to get back into (in no particular order):
- Writing (and I may even start up the Toronto Dark Writers’ Group, or another group along similar lines)
- Photography
- Woodworking and furniture making
