Stupid Warning Labels

Printed on the side of the plastic shopping bag my lunch came in, it says: “Warning: To avoid danger of suffocation, keep this plastic bag away from babies and children. Do not use this bag in cribs, beds, carriages or playpens. The plasic bag could block nose and mouth and prevent breathing. This bag is not a toy.” “Licensed under Pat. No. 5,335,788”

Is it just me, or does it seem stupid to go into so much detail on the warning label? I mean, the people who would most benefit and perhaps need the extended information seem to be to be the same people who wouldn’t be able to read it!!
