Gotta love Engrish!

The following is an excerpt directly from the “AG86 Flashdisk Manual V1.0” on pages 6 and 7:

The function of “Lock Disk ”offers user a space to protect and hide the security data. Please set password first before executes this function.

I. Select the “Security” button on the “User” window, proceed to lock disk. Click “Lock Disk” button to continue.

II. After click “Lock Disk” button, the following window will pop on, locking disk has already done on the security disk**1. The data stored in security disk will be hidden, at this time, user cannot read and write any data in it until unlocks disk.

III. To unlock disk please enter your password in the “Password” column then click on “UnLock Disk” button. The disk will be unlocked.

**1: At first, if there is only one disk, the whole disk is the security disk, but when you partition and lock disk, the system will distinguish the second disk in security disk. Locking disk will only works in the second disk as security disk.

What’s scarier still is that this PASSED Microsoft Word’s spelling and grammer checker, with the exception of the position of the close quote on the first line! Or maybe that’s why it made it into the document? Thank you, Mr. William Gates! Which begs the question: When WAS the last time an American actually spoke English?
