The Situation:
You are at the coffee place, putting condiments (sugar, dairy product, whatever) into your drink. As you reach for a lid, you realize you have actually taken two lids stuck together. Since you are an environmentally-friendly person, you aren’t going to pitch the second lid into the trash (or recycling bin), but are going to put it back into the stack.
