My Dad reported this morning: Only minus 39°C windchill today! Positively balmy. Yech!
That may be true, but it is much as I had predicted. “Average seasonal temperatures” are called that for a reason; we’re now paying for the abnormally warm December we had.
I got up at 6:15 am to shove(l) snow this morning… it was very light. There is a foot of the stuff on the deck… all those steps have turned into slopes! I’m leaving it there because it looks so pretty. I took some pictures last night, but didn’t have time to do so this morning. If I get a chance, I’ll post them for you to see.
This may be the last Winter I get to enjoy at Xoozland… Chocoholic doesn’t like the location and wants to get a place closer to the subway so she won’t ever have to drive to work. Of course, houses in those areas will cost about twice as much. I hate paying more for less!
