Spooky Goings-on

Friday will be my First Hallowe’en with Chocoholic, but it probably won’t be our last! She’s such a Big Kid sometimes… and she loves playing dress-up.

We’re getting together with A Certain Someone to go out clubbing for the evening. It will be Chocoholic‘s first taste of the Goth scene. I’m not sure where we’re going to end up… probably Savage. I have to double check the listings to see what’s happening where.

Chocoholic is going to go out as a “Velvet Silver Spider Web Countess”:

We decided on this one because it’s something she could wear to other Goth functions, such as Convergence. (Oh, yeah! She’s DEFINITELY coming with me to Convergence!!)

Here’s what I’m thinking of for my costume:

I wore this when we went out for dinner in New Orleans during Convergence V in 1999. I might add some fake vampire fangs and go as a sort of dapper Dracula/wolfman thing.
