The time is 3:30 p.m. EDT on Friday, July 25th, 2003. This is significant only in that it is roughly 1.5 hours before I am officially ON VACATION!!! The client boss has left for the day, as have most of the other people in the office. So I have a couple of things I could be doing right now…
- Work. What? Actually do some work? What good would that be? I would have maybe an hour or so to do something, and then when I come back in a week or so, I would just have to spend so much time trying to remember and figure out just where I left things. Better to not bother doing anything…
- Sleep. I could crawl under my desk (for extra privacy and darkened room effect) and have a bit of a snooze. Lord knows I can use it, since I was up most of the night with Chocoholic!!
- Go for a Walk. Getting my Big Fat Butt out of my Big Fat Chair and going for a Big Fat Walk might do me some good and get the juices flowing again. And I could treat myself to something cold and sweet, like an ice cream cone or a Delato at Second Cup.
- Go Home. I rode my bike to work this morning, so I’m not tied to the transit schedule in any way. Then I could grab a quick nap before I head out to babysit Deniece and Denephew.
Oh! I know what I can do… I can fill out my timesheet for the month, since I’m not going to be back until well into August! ZZZZZzzzzz…..
