I sure as HELL hope my day improves, as so far it has not been a good one. Overall, it hasn’t been all that bad, but merely an constant stream of minor nasty things happening to me.
- Good thing: Rode my bike to work. Bad thing: Got halfway up the road and realized I didn’t have a shirt to wear at the office, so I had to turn around.
- Got to the gym. They’ve installed locks on the gate to FORCE you to show them your card, even if their head is up their ass at the time you try to go in, so you have to WAIT until they’re good and ready to deal with you.
- Changed from my biking gear into my gym gear. Went out to the gym floor; all the ab benches were in use. I’m already an hour late for work at this point, so I had to skip my ab work. Blah!
- Got to work, and struggled to lock my bike up, wedging my bike inbetween two others, hoping neither of them decide to get angry because my handlebars are touching their handlebars.
- I’m really hungry and cranky at this point as I can feel my blood sugar levels drop through the floor.
- Now I just dumped an entire mug of tea all over my desk, including down the front of my file cabinet! I’m afraid to open the drawers to see the full extent of the “damage”. I cleaned it up as best I could, but it is probably going to start to stink in a day or two because of the heat and the milk that was in my tea. The mug is still sitting in the middle of the floor where it fell; I can’t be bothered to pick it up yet.
At this point, I don’t know if I just want to crawl under my desk and have a nice cry or whether the wiser thing to do is just turn around and go home again…
