Don’t Think About it…..JUST DO IT
Sunday, March 30th 3:30 yoga ….6:00 sushi
Never tried Bikram Hot Yoga?
Now is your chance!
Previous experience is not required. You will have the opportunity to join a regular class with the owner (Lisa) for a reduced rate. ($8.00 instead of $10).
What to expect:
The class is 1.5 hours long, and is held in a room heated to body temperature. Expect the heat to feel like a warm sauna. The instructor will guide you in how to do the postures, each posture is repeated twice. The heat allows you to stretch more, and therefore get more out of the posture. You will sweat!
What to wear and do:
Wear a bathingsuit, lycra shorts / tank top. Bring a 1 liter bottle of water, yoga mat (if you have one), a towel or two, and a change of clothes. Drink some water before the class, if you can. You can rent towels, yoga mats and buy water at the studio. There are showers available.
Location:
Bikram Yoga Beaches is located at 1911 Queen St East (rear building), near east of Woodbine. The class begins at 4:00…it is best to meet at 3:30 to have you sign in and change. The studio can accommodate 15 of us. For those interested in having sushi afterwards, there is a wonderful new restaurant in front of the studio.
It was a combination of good and brutal workout. It was incredible how drenched my clothes were when I was done!
A very philosophical blonde joke:
There’s this blonde out for a walk. She comes to a river and sees another blonde on the opposite bank.
“Yoo-hoo!” she shouts, “How can I get to the other side?”
The second blonde looks up the river then down the river and shouts back,
“You ARE on the other side.”
Who writes this stuff??
From today’s paper:
Cardinal Sin hospitalized
PHILIPPINES: Cardinal Jaime Sin, the Roman Catholic archbishop of Manila and one of the most influential figures in the Philippines, was recovering in hospital yesterday after collapsing while praying in his room. Sin, who is due to retire on his 75th birthday on Aug. 31, had a seizure after celebrating mass at a small chapel at his residence, his spokesman said in a statement.
The Pope has expressed distress that they have committed Cardinal Sin in the Philippines…
