Lauren M’s birthday party is on the 23rd of Nov. at 4pm. Shelley’s company christmas party is the same night. could we talk you into coming to the party with us, and staying there until the party wraps and then get the kids home and to bed? I didn’t realize it before (details followed) but Lauren is the four-year-old neighbour kid.

The Fluffgirl Burlesque Revue is Vancouver’s premier and most accomplished neo-burlesque troupe. In between the larger full scale shows, the fluffgirls appear regularly at various venues and special events, locally and in Portland, at Dante’s Cabaret lounge.
Our acts cover a full range of themes as well as eras of Burlesque and strip tease art. From classical Fan dances of the 30’s to the bump and grind pastie twirling of the 50’s, mod go go dancing of the 60’s as well as fetish type dance acts, The Fluffgirls are sure to meet your needs and make any event extra special!
Opening act will be the Vampire Beach Babes. Tanya from the (former?) Toronto Dark Writers’ Group is supposed to be playing with them now.
Executive Decision.
Well, since I got no response from anybody I had contacted about the show, and I really don’t like to go to these things alone— I’m basically a chicken-shit and besides it’s much more fun to share the experience (sometimes I wonder how I made it to Convergence all by my lonesome!)— I decided I would go get drunk for free and look after my niece and nephew. I’ve partied with that bunch before (New Year’s, birthdays), so that’s cool.
Anybody want to come over and fool around with the babysitter after the kiddies go to bed? heeheehee
