Blood-wise, that is.
I had a follow-up check up at my doctor’s office today. Thanks to an administrative screw up of which I was not happy, they booked me an appointment on a day when my actual doctor was not there. So I trekked all the way across metro– by bus and subway and WALKING, no less!– only to find out that my cute doctoress was not there. Now I’m not saying I have the hots for my doctor– that would be unprofessional of me in a patient-doctor relationship– but seeing her does help to improve my mood. But she wasn’t there.
My blood pressure is: 120/90 (and 124/90 on the second reading)
My cholesterol is: Total = 5.29; triglycerides = 1.47; LDL (bad) = 3.54; HDL (good) = 1.08; ratio = 4.90
My weight: 199 lbs (but different scale, different clothes from last time)
The doctor says if I lose another 5 to 10 pounds, I should be able to control the blood pressure without drugs! Yay!!!
