You will never guess what I just encountered in the front garden here at Cedar Grove!
AN OPPOSSUM!!!
It was grey, about the size of a big raccoon or watermelon, had a pointy snoot, and a long, thin tail! When it came out of the garden in front of the porch, we stopped in our tracks and stared at each other for a minute, until Karma started to come back from the side of the house. At that point, I didn’t want her to start chasing it, so I started to move, and then it turned and went back the other way through the garden again!!
I’m guessing that perhaps it has been that and not raccoons that has had Karma so interested in the area under and around the deck out back!
